Sometimes, the most healing words are the ones we don’t even realize we need. If you’re in the middle of a hard season, carrying more than you know how to process, I wrote this for you.
Let’s talk heart to heart.
Whatever You’re Facing Right Now… It’s Valid.
Whether it’s heartbreak, betrayal, divorce, sickness, grief, parenting challenges, financial pressure, business struggles, family conflict, or the quiet ache of disappointment—your pain is real. Your story matters. And I honor you for facing it.
Maybe you feel like the weight is too heavy. Maybe no one truly knows what you’re carrying. But I want to say this to you gently: don’t drown in this moment. Yes, feel what you need to feel. Acknowledge the hardship. But don’t become it.
You are not your pain.
You are not what happened to you. You are not your past. You are not your diagnosis, your divorce, or the debt sitting in your account. This chapter is part of your story, but it is not the ending.
There Is Still Life Ahead of You.
Take a deep breath. Remember the storms you’ve already survived. Go back to the moments you thought would break you—but didn’t. You’re still here. And that means there’s more ahead.
But while you’re going through your own personal storm, I lovingly ask you to lift your head and look around. Because sometimes perspective is the greatest gift we can give ourselves.
You Are Not Alone in Your Pain.
Right now, as you read this, a mother somewhere is sitting beside her baby in the ICU, whispering prayers for one more day.
A father is digging through rubble, hoping to find his loved ones after a bombing.
A child is going to bed hungry.
A family has just lost their home, their savings, and the life they once knew.
A woman is grieving the death of her husband, while another is trying to find the courage to leave a dangerous situation.
People are silently fighting depression, addiction, and anxiety.
Others are simply trying to survive the day.
And just miles from where we live, someone is sleeping under a bridge, wondering if anyone sees them at all.
Your Pain Matters—But So Does Compassion.
Sometimes we get so lost in “my business, my kids, my goals, my stress, my fear” that we forget: this world is bigger than us.
That doesn’t mean your pain doesn’t count—it does. But your healing may just begin when you look up, step outside of your pain, and remember: we are all connected. We are all trying. We are all in need of grace.
You’re in Good Company.
You are not the first person to walk through the fire. And you won’t be the last.
Job lost everything, yet he didn’t curse God.
David ran for his life, hid in caves, fought battles—and still sang praises.
Esther stood boldly for her people, risking her life.
Joseph was betrayed by family, falsely accused, and forgotten in prison—yet rose to a place of influence and forgiveness.
Ruth lost her husband, left everything familiar, and clung to a future she didn’t yet see.
Paul wrote letters of encouragement from a jail cell.
They all walked through valleys before they saw the mountaintop. You are in powerful, divine company.
Praise Him, Even Here.
No matter what your valley looks like, praise God in it. Praise Him even with trembling hands. Praise Him in the silence, in the chaos, in the confusion. Not because of how you feel—but because of who He is.
Because you can’t see His glory without walking through something.
A Privilege to Be Alive
You woke up today. You’re breathing. You’re still here. And that’s a miracle. You are created in the image of the Most High God. That means your life still has purpose. It still has value. And it still holds promise.
So lift your head. Allow compassion to rise in your heart. Speak kindly to yourself and others. Let this world see the light that still shines in you.
Because the best is still ahead.
